With the utmost care for our patients, the Hertzog Eye Care team will kindly and patiently help you through the process of scheduling appointments, understanding procedures and our recommendations, communicating with your primary doctor, and communicating with your PPO insurance. We perform a variety of vision care services including cataract surgery, lasik surgery, clear lens extraction, eyelid surgery, macular degeneration treatment, diabetic retinopathy treatment, glaucoma treatment, and dry eye syndrome treatment. We perform eye glasses exams for patients who need glasses and contacts. We have a full service optical department with an in-house lab, and many glasses frames to choose from. We also offer elective cosmetic treatments including botox, cosmetic fillers, and latisse for thinning eyelashes; performed by our nurse.

Meet the Eye Doctors
Hertzog Eye Care is currently owned and operated by eye physician and surgeon, Dr. H. Dieter Hertzog, MD (5th generation). Eye doctor Darcy Ryan, OD, is our eye exam specialist performing refractions for glasses and contact lenses, and has been practicing for over 20 years. Dr. Jennifer Lee, OD, provides both comprehensive and medical eye exams and is certified in the use of diagnostic and therapeutic agents.
Dr. H. Dieter Hertzog, M.D., is a board-certified eye surgeon who specializes in cataract, refractive, and eyelid surgery. He is a 4th generation ophthalmologist and a 5th generation surgeon. He has performed over 20,000 cataract, LASIK, and eyelid surgeries as well as lasers and injections over the course of his career.
Dr. Darcy C. Ryan performs general and specialty exams on children through adults, treats eye disease, and prescribes glasses and various types of contact lenses.
Dr. Jennifer Lee provides both comprehensive and medical eye exams and is certified in the use of diagnostic and therapeutic agents to detect, treat, and manage ocular disease, and co-manages patients for cataract extractions and refractive surgery.
Our staff provides kind and courteous eye care with consistency. For years, we’ve had very little turnover, which assures that you will see the same smiling faces when you come to see us.
